Besides being known worldwide for its breathtaking landscapes and included in 2004 in the UNESCO World Heritage List, Val D’Orcia is also appreciated for its unmistakable flavours and fragrances.

Here, a good glass of Sangiovese wine, accompanied by natural and genuine food, seasoned with extra virgin olive oil, brings together people of all kinds and races: that's why in Val d’Orcia there are many festivals dedicated to food and wine products.

Orcia Wine festival every year is an important wine fair for wine lovers from the palate up the perfect opportunity to get to know the excellence of DOC Orcia wine thanks to wine tours, thematic tasting and visits to wine cellars.

The market exhibition organized by the Municipality of San Quirico d'Orcia to raise awareness of Val d'Orcia wines has as its fulcrum the wonderful eighteenth-century halls of Palazzo Chigi.
So many emotion! Four intense days

This event offered the opportunity not only to taste wines and gourmet food but also to compare and buy directly from the producer. And the customers loved it!

There was a huge range of wine on display from a select group of exhibitors. And was not only wines, but also bubbles ( Metodo Classico o Charmat), local products, as well as have an opportunity to receive that “first-class advice.” So, if someone has a question about, say, whether or not you should refrigerate open red wine bottles, the experts were here to weigh in on this hotly debated topic.
