The Picnic with vineyard view at Olivi Le Buche Winery will begin with a visit to our winery, where we will tell you—without boring you—about vineyard management, grape processing, and our company philosophy. During the walk to your picnic area, you will also get to see our vineyards up close.
We will continue with a tasting in the Tasting Room, where you will sample 3 of our fine wines and we will introduce you to our Extra Virgin Olive Oil, which you can enjoy during your picnic.
This will be a quick tasting, where you can exchange ideas with us or freely head to the spot to enjoy your light lunch with a vineyard view.
Our staff will provide a charming basket with everything you need to enjoy your open-air lunch.
Typically, in addition to water, glasses, plates, napkins, and a bottle of our Extra Virgin Olive Oil DOP Terre di Siena, we will provide a bottle of our Chianti Superiore DOCG, perfect for a true Tuscan experience. Depending on your preferences, it will also be possible to swap the bottle for one you particularly liked during the tasting or if you wish to try something else—just ask!
Your picnic basket will include a selection of regional specialties: fresh bread, cured meats, local pecorino cheeses, seasonal tomatoes or vegetables from our garden, cantucci or other homemade biscuits.
All you need to do is enjoy this moment of relaxation in nature in some of the most scenic spots on the estate: there are two locations available, easily reachable on foot from our winery.
Both locations, furnished for your complete comfort, are panoramic points overlooking the vineyard, offering total privacy. Enjoy the silence, occasionally interrupted by wildlife or the distant sound of our farm machinery. No rush—you can stay as long as you like!
You will experience a unique and original way to immerse yourself in the Tuscan lifestyle.
For larger groups, we can arrange a setup in another outdoor area to which we will guide you. Please note, booking at least 2 days in advance is required.

• Tasting of a selection of wines at our Olivi Le Buche Winery
• Picnic with vineyard view in a designated area within the estate
• Picnic basket: selection of cured meats, 2 types of pecorino cheeses, vegetables from our garden, bread, homemade biscuits
• One bottle of Chianti Superiore DOCG (you may request another bottle of the same price or pay extra for a different choice)
• One bottle of La Sovana Extra Virgin Olive Oil
• Reserved parking at the winery
• Available by reservation for a maximum of 12 people
• In case of unforeseen bad weather after the free cancellation period, the experience will take place indoors as a Classic Plus tasting
• Reservation required at least 48 hours in advance (72 hours for groups)
Availability: The picnic takes place outdoors, from April to early October, Monday to Saturday, by reservation only
